In addition to the display of fault and status messages with plain text designation, GEDIS relies on an electronic, temperature independent load circuit control for currents on four channels. These signal limit loads and consistently trigger short circuits or overloads. The fault can be reset on-site or remotely after the resolution of the fault. The signal contacts of the load circuit control are continuously monitored and visualised on the screen for the operating and service personnel.

ADDITIONAL SCALE AND SPIRIT LEVELS

GEDIS additive scales are completely mounted in a Rittal enclosure with IP54 degree of protection and are protected against dust and splash water. The scales are delivered individually with one to six weighing containers made of stainless steel (V2A). The additive scales are already factory wired and completely wired and connected to the terminal box at the side. This greatly reduces the installation effort on site. Dimensions standard version: 1200mm, width 800mm, depth 400mm. In addition, GEDIS supplies custom-made spirit levels on request according to the steel construction and the space available.

MOISTURE MEASUREMENT

Moisture measurement inside the mixer, moisture measurement below a flap, moisture measurement inside the silo, moisture measurement with slides. GEDIS solves these demanding tasks according to each case with the help of capacitive, microwave or radar measurement systems. Matched to the process requirements, the measurement is supplied with a program for sand-water correction, installation material and wear protection. The calibration is carried out in conjunction with the control system IBS33W and the on-site building materials laboratory.

CONSISTENCY MEASUREMENT

The consistency display is graphically displayed in the flow chart and shows the consistency history of the last thirty seconds. GEDIS supplies the evaluation electronics, the active current transformer and the software. The system automatically converts to different batch sizes and can be calibrated separately for the individual consistency ranges F1 to F6. The graphic representation in three signal colours, (red, yellow, green) allows a quick detection of the consistency of the mix.

ALPHANUMERIC LED LARGE TEXT DISPLAYS

The alphanumeric LED large text displays for outdoor application are used for material loading and fleet scheduling. GEDIS integrates these LED large text displays into the control system so that you can easily and simply generate texts for the display from within the control.

The multi-line text display, which is controlled via LAN, gives you the option of transferring information quickly to the outside area of the plant. With a reading distance of more than 25 metres, the display also reaches employees at greater distances. Another feature of our displays is the automatic adjustment of the brightness, which makes a great contribution to the clear legibility at all times of the day and in all weather situations. In the front text area of the display, a traffic light can be included, which contributes to a high degree to the simplification of the scheduling processes and accelerates the vehicle change during loading, which in turn leads to an increase in hourly performance.

RECYCLING WATER DENSITY MEASUREMENT

By means of the integration of a domestic recycling water density measurement in the IBS33W control system contributes to environmental protection. Due to the process of measuring the density of the recycling water it is possible to reuse it for production.

Due to the reusability, treatment or disposal costs can be saved. Furthermore, the energy required for treatment and disposal is saved. The OLAS measuring system determines the density in kg/1 of the concrete recycling water based on the infrared absorption measuring method. For the closed material cycle in concrete production, EN08 requires that the density in the recycling water basin does not exceed the limit value of 1.07 kg / I. The OLAS measuring system provides an output interface (4-20mA). The GEDIS control IBS33W is equipped with a matrix for four concrete families. Within those concrete families the proportion of recycling water in % to the water density measured by OLAS kg /I and regulated according to the families in the GEDIS control system.

The standard range of the OLAS system is between 1,00 kg/land 1.15 kg/ I, that even if the limit value of 1.07 kg/Tis exceeded, it is possible to reliably the maximum total water density value in the GEDIS IBS33W plant control system and to reduce it again by adding fresh water into recycling basin, The measured value is applied to the next batch, The solids content is taken into account in the target value calculation of the sand component and saved with the dosing, Through integration of the recycling water density measurement important resources, such as water and cement-while maintaining the same product- can be saved.
